The following are "miscellaneous" permissions that are known to possibly interfere with CMT/TrueMotion SDKs. The following list is not exhaustive and there are separate articles for core permissions that are required and tracked by the CMT Sensor Engine:
On Android 10:
Background Restricted
- Go to settings
- Go to apps
- Find the app and tap on it
- Go to mobile data
- Go to data usage
- Turn on ‘Allow background data usage’
Turn off the Sleeping Apps feature for all apps
- Go to Settings
- Go to Device Care
- Go to Battery
- Go to Three-dot menu (top right)
- Go to Settings
- Put unused apps to sleep (turn off)
On Android 11:
Adaptive Battery
- Go to Settings
- Go to Battery
- Turn off the Adaptive Battery option
Background Restricted
- Go to settings
- Go to apps
- Find the app and tap on it
- Go to mobile data
- Go to data usage
- Turn on ‘Allow background data usage’
App Optimization
- Go to Settings
- Go to apps
- Find the app in question
- Go to battery
- Go to battery optimization
- Go to all apps
- Find your app again
- Make sure Don’t Optimize is turned on
App Sleep Settings
- Go to Settings
- Go to Device care
- Go to Battery
- Go to More
- Go to Settings
- Go to Put unused apps to sleep
- Turn off sleep delay
On Android 12:
Power Save Mode should be turned off
- Go to settings
- Go to battery and device care
- Go to battery
- Turn off Power Save Mode
Adaptive Battery
- Go to Settings
- Go to Battery
- Turn off the Adaptive Battery option
Limit Apps and Home Screen
- Go to settings
- Go to battery and device care
- Go to battery
- Power Save Mode
- Turn off Limit apps and Home screen
Location Setting
Location services must be set to high accuracy mode
- Go to Settings
- Go to Location Services
- Tap 'Mode' or 'Locating method'
- High accuracy (Battery usage: high)
Other Settings

- Find the app in question

- Go to Battery
- Go to More
- Go to Settings
- Go to Put unused apps to sleep
- Turn off sleep delay
On some devices you may see an option to disable Put Unused Apps to Sleep. If you have this do the following.
- Go to Settings
- Go to Battery
- Turn off the ‘Put Unused Apps to Sleep’ option
